CRSS and the Construction Industry

The two most important schemes available to employers and businesses across the country at this time are the CRSS (Covid Restrictions Support Scheme) and EWSS (Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme). Under the current CRSS guidelines, the construction industry is not permitted to make a claim under CRSS as they do not satisfy the guidelines whereby they operate from a fixed premises that is required to prohibit or considerably restrict customers from accessing their premises.
